Creature Salad For Toddlers
Ingredients: -Pear -Peach -Raisins -Carrot
Directions: 1. Cut a pear in half, this will be the lobsters body. Place the pear half on a salad plate. Take the pear and cut it into slices. Use one peach slice as the lobster's tail.
2. For the lobster's claws, take two more peach slices and place them coming out from the body of the lobster (the large section of the pear). Add two raisins at the top of the large end of the pear for the eyes of the lobster.
3. Cut the carrot into very thin slices. Use small pieces of carrot for the antennae of the lobster. Place small strips of carrot across the body of the lobster to make the shell.
4. Use the other half of the pear to make a fish or an octopus. Again use the carrot and raisins to decorate their bodies.
5. Get creative with other fruits such as bananas, pineapple slices, oranges, apples, cucumber, broccoli flowerets and all kinds of nuts. See how many creatures your little ones can come up with.
