Easy Oatmeal Recipe

Your baby will love these oatmeal crackers and you'll be happy to know what is in them!  This is a healthy snack for baby at anytime of the day.

Oatmeal Crackers

1 cup flour (graham or whole wheat)
1 cup unbleached flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup milk

Combine both flours together and add in the baking powder.  Next cut in the butter or margarine and keep mixing until you've got something the consistency of cornmeal.  Add in the sugar.  Roll dough on a floured area until it's about 1/4 inch thick and then cut into squares.  Prick the crackers with a fork and then brush the tops with milk.  Bake at 400F on an ungreased baking sheet for 18minutes or until the crackers are golden brown in color.  If you roll the dough out thicker you can also make these into Oatmeal Teething Biscuits.
