Kids Cheese and Crackers

Crackers, cheese and apple juice go really well together and are a great healthy treat for kids.  Use cheese cutters to make lots of fun shapes kids will go for.

Toddler Fun Cheese Treats

Ingredients:

4 carrots, peeled
4 celery sticks
1 green or red pepper
1 cucumber, washed
1 lb mild cheddar sliced in 1/2 inch pieces
12 assorted crackers
4 tbsp peanut butter
1 red apple with peel, seeded and sliced thinly
4 individual-size apple juice boxes

Directions:
1. Cut up the celery, pepper, cucumber and carrots into sticks.

2. Use cheese-cutters or a knife to cut the cheese slices into fun shapes like hearts, stars and moons.  Cut out 12 shapes using while trying to waste the least amount of cheese.

3. Spread peanut butter over crackers and top with one or two apple slices and the add the cheddar.  Use the apple peels to decorate the cutouts or raisins.

4. Serve with the vegetable sticks and some apple juice.
